All discharged children who recovered from Noma, as well as those after surgery, are being followed up in their villages to reinforce the teaching received in the hospital and to evaluate their integration in the village.
Their health status is monitored, and at the same time some health lessons are given to the community members. Where needed, some help is offered to assist in the social integration and family welfare.
