Noma Children Hospital is involved in a work group on Noma set up by WHO and the Federal Ministry of Health with the aim of developing an integrated approach for the prevention and treatment of Noma for the whole of Nigeria. A pilot project is planned to start in Sokoto state as soon as possible.
